LWNTAITJI.., I~OI\ T~iE CURRENT FISCAl. YEAR OF 1931. BE IT RB:SOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEl/IAN: I. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5194, Political Code, R.C.rvl., 1921, as amended by Chapter 175, Laws of' Montana, 1925, there is hereby levied 2nd assessed on the assessed value of the taxable I)l"Operty of' the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, for the current fiscal year of 1931, for General, Municipal and Administrative purposes, a tax of one and five-tenths per centwn (15 mills) on the per centum of the assessed value of the taxable pro~1erty of the City of Bozeman, which levy shall be distributed as follows: General, Municipal and Administrative Purposes, (Section 5194, Political Code, H.C.M. 1921, as amended by Chapter 175, Laws of Montana, 1925. ) : (a) Executive, police, and other purposes, 8 mills (b) M:ai nt enance 0 f Fire Department 2 mills ( c ) Street and Alley purposes: (1) General (Section 1617, Political Code, I R. C .M. , 1921) 4 mills (2 ) Opening Babcock Street (Babcock Street Fund, Ordinance 5?3) 1 mill Total, 15 mills II. Tha t , pursuant to the provisions of Section 5049, Pol it ical Code, ~-\.C .M., 1921, and the provisions of' Ordinance No. 233 of the City of Bozeman and Council Resolution No. 1095 of said City, in pursuance of which the tax authorized for 1 ibrary purposes by tax payers at an election held April 4th, 1921, was increased from one to two mj..lls, there is hereby levied and assessed on the assessed value of the taxable propertw of the City of Bozeman, state or Montana, for the current . fiscal year of 1931, for the support and maintenance of the free public library of the City of Bozeman, a special tax of Two (2) Mills on each dollar of the assessed value thereof and the money- derived therefrom shall be distributed to the Library Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by Ordinances I No. 79 and 524 of said City; III. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5194, Political Code, R.C.M. 1921, as amended by Section 1, Chapter l7~, Laws of Montana, 1925, there is Ilereby levied and assessed on the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, for the current fiscal year of 1931, for the purpose _._~ ---. -.-. 17 r4- ~} . n____ of Jru:)intnining public parks in said City, a special tax of Two ( 2) Mille I on the per centum of the' assessed value of the taxable propert~r of the City of' bOZemo.il and the money derived therefrom shall be distributed to the Park :F'und and shall be disbursed as provided by Ordinance Nos. 473, 524, 560 and 5'71 of said City; IV. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5048, Political Code, R. C .lvl. , 1921, there is hereby levied and assessed on the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, state of Moritana, for the current fiscal year of 1931 for the purpose of providing band concerts for the entertainment of the people of said C1 ty, a special tax of One-half (~) Mill on eao.'_ dollar of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozem~an and the money derived therefrom shall be distributed to the Band Concert Fund of said City and shall be disbursed as IJrovided by Ordinances No. 521 and 524 of said City; v. I That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 5119, Political Code, R.C.kl., 19 21 , as amended by Section 3 of Chapter 58, Laws of IVJ.ontana, 192'1, as am.ended by Section 1 of Chapter 43, Laws of Montana, 1931, there is hereby levied and assessed upon the assessed valuation of all taxable property within the limits of the City of Bozeman for the year 1931, a special tax of One-Tenth (1/10) Mill on the dollar of such assessed valuation for the purpose of maintaining the Disability and Pension Ji'und of the lire Department Relief Association of the City of bozeman, and said tax when so collected shall be paid into the Disability and Pension :F'urlU oj' the :Fire Department Helief Association of the City of Bozeman; VI. Tha t , pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 603 of the City 01' Lozeman, state of Montana, there is hereby levied and assessed on the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, 1'0 r the current 1'i seal year of' 1931 for the purpose of' paying interest on, and to creat e, I a sinldng fund for the redemption of Refunding City Bonds of the City of bozeman, a special tax of Three (3) I'Ia11 s on the per centum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozernan and the money derived from the collection of said special tax shall be distributed to the Refund ing City Lond i:}inking j.!'und and shall be disbursed as provided by said Ordi~lance: VII. 176 --.. .-... I current fiscal year of 1931, for the purpose of paying the interest on and creating D. sinking fund for the redemption of Refunding City Bonds (Sewer bonds) of the City of Bozeman, a speoial tax of One (1) Mill on the per centum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman, and the money derived from the collection of said special tax shall be distributed to the Refundine: City Bond Sinking Fund (Sewer Dond 8inking Fund), and shall be disbursed as provided by said Ordinance~ VIII. That, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 24, Laws of hiontana, 21st Session, 1929, there is hereby .;evied and assessed on all the taxable property ,1' the '"'ity of Bozermn, state of Montana, for the current fiscal year of 193~, for the pu'.p se of providing a fund for the "Special Improvement District Revolving Fund", in order to secure the pron~t payment of any Special Improvement Dist ict Bonds or Warrants issued in payment of improvements made in any Special Improvement District s, and the interest thereon as it tecomes due, a special tax of I One-Half (-h) "Mill on the per centuLl of the assessed value of the taxable l!roperty u1' the City of Bozeman, and the money derived from the collection of said special tax shall be distributed to the "Special Improvement DistI'ict Hevolvine; Fund1l and shall be disbursed as provided by Ord inance enacted pursuant to said Chapter 24; IX.
