The Bozeman Public Library Sound System shall have six zones. Each zone shall have individual control and dedicated power amplifier. All zones shall have distributed loudspeakers fed by a 70 Volt outputs from the dedicated power amplifiers. Each power amplifier shall have a minimum output of 150 Watts into a 70 Volt load. The loudspeaker transformers shall be tapped in a way that presents the appropriate load to the amplifier(within the output capacity of the power amplifier). This list of materials includes equipment that will replace the existing sound equipment in the large meeting room. The electronic audio equipment shall be mounted in a new wall-mounted equipment rack in the basement mechanical/electrical room. All electronic control and amplification equipment shall be rack-mountable.Rack shelves are not acceptable.Existing empty conduits are available to be used by the sound system contractor to run speaker and microphone wires between the basement and upper floors.Install new raceway in exposed areas.
