HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 97- 148 Vacates Certain Streets and Alleys in Northern Pacific Addition ORDINANCE NO. 148 AN ORDINANCE VACATING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE NORTHERN PACIFIC ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Bozeman. Section 1 That all of the streets and alleys be vacated within the bounds below described, the same being situated in the Northern Pacific Addition to the City of Bozeman. Commencing at a point on Main Street sixteen feet East of Lot Twelve, Block thirty (30) , being the East side of alley extending through said block, thence running East to the South-East corner of Block Twenty Eight: Thence due South to the center of Montana or Babcock Street; thence due East to the East line of Oak Street; thence due North to the Rail- Road Right of Way; thence Northwesterly along the Right of Way to a point opposite Block forty-seven (47) ; thence South across Front Street to the North-East corner of Block Forty-seven (47) ; thence Northwesterly to the North-West corner of Block Forty-seven (47) ; thence Southerly to the North-East corner of Block Forty-six; theme West to Alley in said Block; thence continuing from the North-East corner of the alley along the East line of said alley to the place of beginning on Main Street. Section 2 That this Ordinance be in force and effect on and after it's passage and publication. Passed, adopted and approved this 19th day of February A. D. 1897. Signed by Benj . F.
