Message: Commissioners, I do not know if this is the appropriate forum to contactthe City Commission, but we are voicing our concern with the upkeep of theRegional Park. We have resided at Pebblebrook condominiums on the north side ofthe regional park for 6 years. We continue to be concerned with the lack of care forthe Regional Park. We took pictures and forwarded them to the Gallatin CountyCommissioners & GVLT on July 30, 2014 to show them the current state of the park.We have not received a response. We will forward the pictures to your CityCompliance Officer in a separate email. I think you will agree the park is sufferingfrom annual maintenance, which reflects poorly on our community and lack of pridein this valuable asset. We hope that you share our concern that the status quo isunacceptable and will and will begin talks with the County Commission to eitherprovide funding for annual maintenance or transfer of ownership from the County tothe City, as this park is now surrounded by city neighborhoods.
