A RESOLUTION OF THE COr~IISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN L~~ING AND
ASSESSING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF TAXES UPON ALL THE PROPERTY IN
SPECIAL IMFROVDliENT LI GHTING DISTRICT NO. 284, TO DEFRAY SEVENTY-

FIVE PER CENT
(75%) OF THE ESTIw~TED COST OF LIGHTING CLEVELAND
STREET FROM WILLSON AVENUE TO EIGHTH AVENUE WITHIN SAID SPECIAL
IMPROVENlENT LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 284 OF THE CITY OF BOZEtviAN, FROM
NOVEMBER 1,
1934 TO DECEMBER 31,
1935.
WHEREAS,
the Commission of the City of Bozeman duly and regularly passed
Commission Resolutions Nos.
212 & 214,
creating Special Improvement Lighting
District No. 284 within the City of Bozeman and defining the boundaries thereof and
plrcviding for the assessment of the cost of lighting the same as set forth in said
Commission Resolutions Nos.
212 & 214; and
WHE REAS ,
the terms of the cant ract with the Montana Power Company for
furnishing current for street lights and the maintenance thereof require that
monthly payments be made therefor; and
WHEREAS,
the Commission of the City of Bozeman has caused an est imate of the

Section 2.
That to defray seventy-five per cent
(75%) of the cost of
maintaining and lighting said Cleveland street,
from Willson Avenue to Eighth
I
Avenue, within said Special Improvement Lighting District No.
284,
from November 1,
1934 to December 31,
1935,
there be, and there is hereby levied and assessed a. tax
upon all the property in front of and bordering upon said Special Improvement
Lighting District No. 284 as set forth in Schedule "A",
hereto attached and made a
part hereof; that a particular description of each lot and parcel of land with the
name of the owner and the sum assessed against him or it,
is set forth in the
schedule hereto attached and made a part hereof'; that the several sums set
opposite the names of the owners, and the described lots and parcels of land, be,
and the same are hereby levied and assessed upon and against said lots and
parcels of land; that the several sums be collected from the respective owners of
said lots and parcels of land described in the said schedule,
as required by law;
that said sums be paid and the collection thereof shall be made in the manner and
in accordance with the law governing the collection of special improvement taxes;
that failure to pay such assessments when the same shall become due and payable
shall make such person and such lots and parcels of land liable to the penalties
provided by the law relative to delinquent taxes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,
that at a regular session of the Commission of the City
of Bozeman held on the 24th day of August,
1934,
Commission Resolution "L~o.
268 was
duly passed and adopted; that said Cornmission Resolution No. 268 levies and assesses
a special assessment of taxes upon all the property in Special Improvement Lighting
District No. 284 of the said City to defray seventy-five per cent (75%) of the cost
of lighting Cleveland street from Willson Avenue to Eighth Avenue,
for the year from
November 1,
1934 to Decernber 31,
1935.
