Message: Hello Mr. Kukulski: I am writing to request that the city consider placingsome limits on the type of fireworks that are allowed in city limits. My neighbor is aMarine who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was painful to watch how muchanxiety and distress she suffered during the days surrounding the 4th of July. Shetried to get away for the 4th to go camping in order to avoid the trauma but had tocome home early because of an allergic reaction to a insect bite. She had to takemedication to deal with the fireworks. The mortar type fireworks are over-kill,unnecessary and harmful to people like my neighbor, whom we should honor fortheir service, not re-traumatize. Thank you.
