ASSESSING

the Commission of the City of Bozeman duly and regularly passed
Commission Resolutions Nos. 212 &, 214,
creating Special Improvement Lighting District
No. 284 within tlle City of Bozeman and defining the boundaries thereof and providing
for the assessment of the cost of lig,hting the same as set forth in said Co:rm:1ission
Resolutions Nos.
212 & 214; and

hereof;
that the several sums set opposite the names of the owners,
and the des-
cribed lots and parcels of land,
be,
and the Sfuue are hereby levied and assessed
upon and against said lots and parcels of land;
that the several sums be
collected from the respective owners of said lots and parcels of land described
in the said schedule,
as required by law;
that said sums be paid and the
collection thereof shall be made in the manner and in accordance with the law
I
governing the collection of s':Jecial improvement taxes;
that failure to pay such
assessments when the same shall become due and payable shall make such person and
such lots and parcels of land liable to
the penalties provided by the law
relative to delinquent taxes.
Section 3.
That the re&vlar session of the COllEission of the City of Bozeman
to be held on the 6th day of September,

at the Commission Room,

be,
and the same is hereby designated as the time and place at
which objections to the final adoption of this Resolution Vlill be heard by the
Commis sion.

and directed. to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle,
a daily newspaper.

and stating that a resolution levylng a special assessment of taxes

of the cost of maintaining and lighting
Cleveland Street,
from Willson Avenue to Eighth Avenue in the said Specla1

Improvement Lighting District No.
284 for the year 1936,
is on file in the offic~
of the Clerlr: of the Commisslon,
subject to inspectlon for a period of' five days;
that said notice s11a1l state the tlme and place at wInch objections will be
heard by the Cormnission to the final adoption of this Resolution;
that it shall
be published at least five days before the date set by the Connn:tssion for
hearing of objectlons,
and the final adoption of this hesolution.

that at a regular session of the Commission of the City

of Bozeman held on the 23rd day of August,
1935 ,
Commission Resolution No. 300 was
duly passed and adopted; that said Commission Resollltion No. 300 levies and assesses
a special assessment of taxes upon all the property in Special Improvement Lighting
District No. 284 of said City to defray seventy-five per cent (75%) of the cost of
lighting Cleveland Street from WilJs on Avenue to Eighth Avenue,
for the year ~36.
That said Special Improvement Lighting District No. 284 was created pursuant to
Conwission Resolutions Nos. 212 and 214;
that the amount of assessment is $481.00;
that the total area to be assessed in the said Special Improvement Lighting District
No. 284 is 548,150 square feet; that the rate per square foot for lots fronting
Cleveland Street is $.0008775; that the rate per square foot for corner lots
