Commission Memorandum
REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission
FROM: Chris Saunders, Policy and Planning Manager Wendy Thomas, Director of Community Development
SUBJECT: Continue the public hearing on application Z14120, Essential Services
municipal code amendment from July 7, 2014 to July 28, 2014.
MEETING DATE: July 7, 2014
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Commission continue the public hearing to July 28, 2014. RECOMMENDED MOTION: I hereby continue the public hearing on application Z14120,
Essential Services, from July 7, 2014 to July 28, 2014.
BACKGROUND:
An amendment to the municipal code to revise the definitions of Essential Services and allocate
them to different zoning districts has been started. A public hearing to consider the amendment
was noticed for July 7, 2014. Due to the large number of agenda items for that date, and the
probable time required to consider them, the agenda appears over committed. Therefore, it is recommended to move this item to an agenda which has more room.
The City is the applicant for this item.
