the 28th day of May,
1937,
the Commission of The City of Bozeman,
pursuant to
the provisions of Ordinance No.
561,
entitled:

PROVIDING. PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF 'l'In~)

AND REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 365, 374, 435, 447, 449,
AND ALL OTHER
ORDINANCES

Proceedings were had thereunder for the construction and installation and/or
repair of Miscellaneous Sidewalks and Curbs during the year
1937,
and
3.
Miscellaneous sidewalks and curbs were constructed and installed and/or repair-
ed bordering on various properties in the City of Bozeman,
pursuant to Ordinance No.
561,
Section 5244,
Political Code, R.C.M.,
1935,
as amended,
and said Commission Eesolution
No. 384,
are hereby referred to and made a part of this Resolution,
and

that the several sums so assessed be collected from the respective owners of said lots and
parcels of land described in said assessment list,
(Schedule A),
as required by law;
that
the payment of said sums shall be made :Ln six installments;
that the payments of said
installments shall be made on or before the 30th day of November,
1937;
that said sums shall
be paid and the collection thereof shall be made in the manner and in accordance with the
law governing the collection of Special Improvement taxes;
that failure to pay such assess-

ments wrIen the same shall become due and payable shall make S',Jch persons and said lots and
parcels of land liable to the penal ties provided b;:r law relative to delinquent taxes;
2. That the regular session of the Co:mmission of 'l'he Ci t','! of Bozeman to be held in
the Commission Chamber in the City Hall of said City on the 15th day of October,
1937,
at
7:30 o'clock P.M. be,
and the same is hereby designated
as the time and place at which
objections to the final adoption of this Resolution will be heard by said Commission;
3. That the Clerk of the Commission of The City of Bozeman be,
and he is hereby ordered
and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle,
a daily newspaper printed and pu..b-
lished in the said City of Bozeman,
a notice signed by the
Clerk of the Commission and stating
that a Resolution levying and assessing a special assessment of taxes to defray the cost and
expense of constructing and installing and/or repairing Sidewallcs and Curbs in The Ci ty of
Bozeman for the year 1937 is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Commission subject to
the inspection for a period of five

day s ;
that said notice shall state the time and place
at which ob,jectlons will be heard by the Commission to the final adoption of this Resolution;
that it shall be published at least five
(5)
days before the day set by the Commission for
the hearinG of objections and the final adoption of this Hesolution.

session thereof,

NOTICE IS HER~;BY GIV3iJ,
that at a regular session of the Commission of The City of
Bozeman held on Friday,
the 8th day of October,
1937,
Commission Resolution No. 384 was
duly passed and adopted;
that said Commission Resolution levies and asses a special assess'-
ment of taxes upon certain lots and parcels of land in front,
or on the side of which,
Sidewalks and Curbs have been constructed,
pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.

561,
Section 5244,
Political Code, R.~.M.,
1935,
to defray the cost and expense of
constructing and installing and/or repairing said Sidewalks and Curbs.
That said
Conwission Resolution is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the
Commission,
subject to inspection for a period of five (5)
days by any persons interest-
ed;
that Friday the 15th day of October,
1937,
at 7:30 o'clock P.M.,
of said day,
at the
reg111ar session of the said Commission of The City of Bozeman
at the Commission Chamber
in the Oi ty Hall Bu,i1ding of said Ci t~r,
has been designated as the time and place vvhen
and where the said Commission will hear and pass upon any
and all objections tl1at may be
made to the final passage and adoption of said Resolution
No. 384,
and the levying of
sald assessment,
and that said Resolution will be finally passed and adopted at said re-
gular sesslon.
All persons
interested are referrred to said Commission Resolution No. 384 of The
City of Bozeman for the construction and/or repair of Miscellaneous
Sidewalks and Curbs,
in front,
or on the side,
of lots and parcels of land within The City of Bozeman for
the year 193'7,
without the formation of a Special Improvement District.
