WIlliREAS: There 1ms been filed with the Clerk of the City Comrrdssion a petition in due
form of all of the owners of property on the North and Sou th Alley in the North Half of
Block 15, Capi tol Hill Addi tlon to rrhe CitY' of Boz eman, reques tine; that said alley be
I vacated for the reason that it is not needed or used, that all of the property in said
half of block now fronts North on Harrison Street, and is served at the rear by the East
and West alley in said block; and
WHEHEAS: At a regular meetinG of the City Commission of The City of Bozeman held
on tlre 20tll day of October, 1939, said petition was considered by the Commission and it
was decided to grant the prayer thereof, and the City Attorney was instructed to prepare
an appropriate resolution to that effect, under the procedure provided by law in that
behalf; now therefore
BE IT R~SOLVED BY THE CO!.IMISSIOlT OF TI-ill CITY OF BOZEMAN:.
SGction 1.
That it is hereby declared to be the intention of The City of Bozeman to vaca.te and
discontinue the North and South alley in the North Half of Block 15, Capitol Hill Addi-
tion to The City of Bozeman.
Section 2.
Tha.t tllO regular meeting of the City Com.'TIission of The City of Bozeman to be held
on Friday, the 10th day of November, 1939, at 7;30 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting
I pla.ce of said C1 ty Commissi on in the C1 t:,;..- Hall of The C1 ty of Bozeman, is the time snd
place when and where objections will be heard to the granting of said petition and the
passage of an ordinance vacatin~ said alley, pursuant to this resolution of intention;
and the Clerk of this Cormnission is hereb::,- directed to cause notice of this resolution
of intention to be served upon all persons whose property abuts upon said alley, pro-
posed to be vacated, and to give notice thereof in the manner and form as prescribed by
Section 5494, R. C. Montana, 1935.
Passed and adopted by the Commission of The Ci ty of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular
session of said Conmnssion held on the 27th day of October, 1939.

hearing objection to the action proposed to be taken pursuant to said Resolution
by the adoption of an Ordinance giving effect to the intention in said Resolution
declared,
and when and where any and all persons ovming property abutting said
alley prpposed to be vacated pursuant to the aforesaid Resolution of Intention, me;r
appear and show cause,
if any they have, against said
proposed vacation. Objections
