COMM..I.SSION REOOLUTION NO. 596
A JOINT RE.3JLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF GALLATIN, MONTANA, AN D OF TIlE
CI TY 0 F BOZEMAN, PROVIDING AND AUTHORIZING DEAN CHAFFIN AS CHAIRMAN
OF THE GALLATIN FIELD BOARD ON BEHALF OF SAID GALLATIN FIELD BOARD,
ACTING FOR GALLATIN COUNTY, MONTANA, AND FOrt THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR ADVAM;E FOR PLAN PREPARATION FOR
NON-FEDffiAL PUBLIC WORKS TO THE FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY, BUREAU OF
COMMUNITY FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, an agreement and joint resolution of the City Commission of the City I
of Bozeman, Montana, and of the Board of County Commissioners of Gallatin County,
Montana, in regular session assembled, created a joint board and conferred upon said
join t board, jurisdiction for the improvement, equipment, maintenance and operation
of Gallatin Field, in the resolution signed by said City on July 31st, A.D., 1942,
and by said County on August lOth, A. D. , 1942.
AND WHEREAS, Dean Chaffin, is now and duly qualified and acting chairman of said
Gallati~ Field Board;
AN D WHEREAS, it is desirable and expedient for s aid Gallatin Field Board, acting
through its authorized representative, Dean Chaffin, to make an Application for Advance
for Plan Preparation for Non-Federal Public Works to the Federal Works Agency, Bureau
of Community Facilities;
AND VmEH.EAS, such application as above mentioned by said Board through its author-
ized representative, Dean Chaffin, is approved by the City of Bozeman, Montana, acting
by and through its City Commission, and by Gallatin County, by and through its Board
of County Commissioners.

BE IT ffiESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners, of Gallatin County, Montana,
all members of .said board being present and participating, in regular session assem-
bled as follows:
That the said Dean 'Chaffin, as Chairman of G-alle.tin Field Board, e.nd as the
authorized representative of said Gallatin Field Board, acting for the County of Gall-
atin, Montana and the City of Bozeman, is hereby authorized to make Application for
Advance for Plan Preparation, for Non-Pederal Public Works to the Federal Works Agen-
cy, Bureau of Comnmnity Facilities.
AND BE IT FURrrlIER HEWLVED, by the Gity Connnlssion of the 'City of Bozeman,
Montana, all members in said Board being present and participating, in regular ses-
sion assembled as follow s:
That the said Dean Chaffin, 9.8 Chairman of Gallatin :Field Board and as the
authorized representative of said Gallatin Field Board, acting for the County of Gall-
atin, Montana, and the City of Bozeman, is hereby authorized to make Application for
Advance for Plan Preparation for Non-Federal Public 'iVorks to the Federal Works Agency
Bureau of Community Facilities.

Passed and adopted by the unanimous vote of the City Commission of Bozeman,
in regular session on the 4th day of December, A. D. , 1946.

that the foregoing Resolution No. 596 was published by title and number in the Bozeman
Daily Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City
in the issue of December 10th, 1946, and that due proof is on file in my office.
