COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 658
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, ,MONTANA, LEVYING AND ASSESSING
LIGHTING DISTRICT MAINTENANCE AND ELECTRICAL CURRENT COSTS FOR SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT
LIGHTING DISTRICTS NUMBERS 100, 284, 288, 289, 290, 295, AND 300 OF THE CITY OF BOZE-
MAN,
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5266 R,C.M., 1935.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1.
That pursuant to the direction and by authority of the provisions of
Section 5266,
R.C.M., 1935, and upon estimates of such cost made by said City Commission

as authorized and directed by said Section 5266, R.C.M.,
1935,
to defray the cost of main-
taining and lighting systems and for electrical current in the several Special Improve-
ment Lighting Districts of the City of Bozeman hereinafter specified,
there is hereby
levied and assessed against property and the several lots, pieces and parcels thereof,
within the boundaries of Special Improvement Lighting Districts Nos. 100, 284, 288, 289,
290, 295, and 300 of the City of Bozeman respectively, as heretofore created and estab-
lished,_the total amounts as to each entire district and the several amounts as to each
lot, piece, or parcel of land within the boundaries of such district, as set forth in the
several schedules attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and marked separately for ident-
ification as Schedule A, for Special Improvement Lighting District No. 100 (Main Street);
Schedule B, for S.I.L.D. No. 284,
(Cleveland Street); Schedule C, for S.I.L.D. No. 288,
(8. Tracy Ave.); Schedule D, for S.I.L.D. No. 289,
(N. Bozeman Ave,); Schedule E, for
S.T.L.D. No. 290,
(S. Black Ave.); Schedule F, for S.T.L.D. No. 295,
(Willson Ave. So.);
and Schedule G, for S.I.L.D. No. 300,
(N. Willson Ave.);
That the amount so levied and assessed is 75% of such estimated cost for each and all
of said Districts except S.I.L.D. No. 100, and as to such District the levy and assessment

is 50% of such estimated cost.
Section 2.
That a particular description of each lot, piece or parcel of land with
the name of the owner thereof and the sum assessed and levied against such property and
owner, or either,
is set forth in the schedule of each district as specified and identif-
ied in Section I of this Resolution, and made a part of this Resolution as aforesaid.
Section 3.
~1at the regular meeting of the Commission of the City of Bozeman to be
held on the 28th day of September,
1949, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. at the Commission Chamber,
City Hall Building,
in the City of Bozeman, be, and the same is hereby designated as the
time and place at which objections to the final adoption of this Resolution will be heard
and considered by said City Commission.
Section 4.
~at the Clerk of the Commission be, and he is hereby ordered and directed
to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in said City of Bozeman, a notice signed by said Clerk as such, which notice
shall state that this Resolution,
levying and assessing the several amounts as set forth
in the Schedules attached hereto and made a part hereof as aforesaid, and for the purposes
herein stated, has been provisionally passed and adopted by the Commission of the City of

Bozeman and is on file in the office of said Clerk and subject to inspection during reg-
ular office hours,
for a period of five days from and after the publication of such notice
and a t any time during such office hours and a t or prior to the regular mee ting of the City
Commission to be held on the 28th day of September, 1949, as s ta ted in Section 3 hereof;
that said Notice shall be so published once, and such publication shall be made not less
than five days before the time set for hearing and considering objections to the final
adoption of this Resolution as aforesaid.

LIGHTING DISTRICTS NO'S. 100, 284, 288, 289, 290, 295, AND 300 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN
MONTANA, FOR THE YEAR 1949.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular
meeting of the Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, held on the 21st day of September, 1949, Commission Resolution No. 658
was provisionally passed and adopted.
Said Resolution levies and assesses a special assess-
ment of taxes upon all the property in Special Improvement Lighting Districts Nos. 100,
(Main Street); 284, (Cleveland Street); 288,
(Tracy Ave.So.); 289,
(N. Bozeman Ave.); 290,
(S. Black Ave.); 295, (S. Willson Ave.); and 300,
(N. Willson Ave.), to defray estimated

cost of maintenance and electrical current for each of said districts, pursuant to the
provisions of Section 5266, RCM 1935.
The portion of such cost assessed is 75% as
to all
of said Districts except District No. 100,
(Main Street), and as .to such District, the
portion of the cost assessed is 50%.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that saId Commission Resolution No. 658 is now on file in
the office of the Clerk of the Commission, City Hall, Bozeman, Montana, and subject to
inspection of all persons interested for a period of five
( 5) days; the. t Wedne sda y,
the
28th day of September, 1949, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. of said day at a regular session of the
Commission of the City of Bozeman, Commission Room, City Hall Building, has been desig-
nated as the time and place when and where said Commission wlll hear and pass upon any and
all objections that may be made to the final passage and adoption of said Commission Res-
olu tion No. 658. Reference is made to Council
Resolution No. 647 and Commission Resol-
utions Nos. 214, 284, 285, 286, 305, and 316 creating the Special Improvement Lighting
Districts above enumerated, which resolutions are on file in the office of said Clerk,
subject to public inspection during regular office hours.
