COMMISSIOY RESOLDTION NO. 676
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMSSION OF THE CITY OR BOZEMAN,
MONTANA DECLARING IT TO
BE TO THE BEST TNTERST OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN AND THE INHABITANTS THEREOF AND
OF THE INHABIT.I\NTS OF A TRACT OF LAND CONTIGUOUS TO THE SAID CITY OF DOZEr.1AN
AND HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED TO EXTEND TEE BOUNDARIES OF TlTE SAID
CITY OF B02EN!AN SO AS TO INCLUDE THE SAID COWfIGUOUS' TRACT WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS THEREOF~i

'v'IfHEREAS, there hes been presented
to the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
a request petitioniong the said City Commission
to extend the boundaries of the
City of Bozeman soas
to incl1Jde a certa in con tiguous
tract of land within the
boundaries of the City of Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, the said request also petitions
the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman to designate the zone said contiguous
tract as a "B" Residence District;
and;
WHEREAS, said request has been duly executed by P9u1 K. Dudley
and Bennett
Realty co., a Montana corporation,
the repu ted owners of said con tiguous
tra c t ;
and
VlJ}-IEEEAS, the proper legal description of said contiguous
tract is as follows:
Beginning at a point on the nc~th line of said Section 18, T.2S. R 6 East,
1326 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Section 18,
T2S R6E; Thence
North 88026' East along
the Section Line 266.7 feet to the East Line of Black
A venue; thence South 0029/1 East along the East line of
Black Avenue 583.5 feet;
thence Sou th 8902' West 437.6 Feet to the East
line of Tracy Avenue; thence

North 0054' West along the East line of Tracy Avenue 180 feet;
thence North 8902'
East along the cAnter line of Harrison Street,
167 feet;
thence North 0654'
West aJ.ong the West line of the Alley Between
Tracy Avenue and Black Avenue,
396.2 feet to the point of beginning; and
WHEREAS, it will be for
the best interest of the City of Bozeman and the inhabitants
thereof and of the inhabitants of the contiguous
tract &ereinbefore described
to extend the boundariefJ of the City of Bozeman so as
to include
tbe said contiguous
tract hereinbefore described within the corporate 1imlts of the Said City of
Bozeman.
NOW, TF!ERFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1. Th at,
pursuan t to the provisions of Chapter 4,
See tion 11-403,
subsection 2 Hevised Codes of Montana, 1947,
it is hereby declared to be
to the best
interest of the City of Bozeman and the
inhabi tents therof and of the inhabitants
of the conti~louS tract heretnbefore described
that the boundaries of the said City
of Bozpman be eytended so as to include
the con tiguous
tract hereinbefore described
within the boundaries and corporate limits of the City of
Bozeman, Montana.
