WHEREAS, there has been presented to the C1 ty Commission of the C1 ty
I of BozE'man a verbal reques t peti tioning the said Ci ty Comrr.ission to extend
. the boundaries of t~e City of Bozeman so as to include a certain contiguous
tract of land within the boundaries of the City of Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, the proper 1epB 1 description of said Con t1.guous trac tis as
follows:
All that portjon of the Nortbwest Quarter of Section Eighteen, Town-
ship Tw. South, Range 6 East, W.P.M. included within t}-'e follow:ing
metes and bounds:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Cleveland
Street and the East line of Butte Addition south of Cleveland Street
as platted in butte Addition to the City of Bozeman; thence easterly
along the center line of Cleveland Street 23U' to the east line of
South Tracy Avenue; thef1ce southerly along the east line of South
Tracy Avenue 399.7'; thence along a 320.75' radius curve to the right
110.68'; thence southwesterly 257.02' to the south line of Garfield
Street; thence westerly along the south line of Garfield Street 124.03'
to the east line of Butte Addition; thence northerly along the east
line of Butte Addition '75U' to the point of Beginning; and
WlillPEAS, it will be for the best interest of the City of Bozeman and
and the inhabitants thereof and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tract
hereinbefore described to extend the boundaries of the City of Bozeman so
as to include the said Contiguous tract hereinbefore described within the

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF TrE CITY OF
BOZEMAN:
Section 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4, Section
11-403, subsection 2, Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, it is hereby declared
to be to the best interest of the City of Bozeman and the inhabitants there-
of and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tract hereinbefore described
that the boundaries of the said City of Bozeman be extended so as to include
the contiguous tract hereinbefore described within the boundaries and
corporate li~its of the City of Bozeman, Montana.
Passed and adopted b~- the Commission of The City of Bozeman at a regular
session held on the 22nd day of November, A.D. 195U. ) V.

Notice is hereby further given that Wednesday,
the 20th day of December,
A.D. 1950,
at 1:00 o'clock P.M. at the Commission Rpom of the City Hall,
Bozeman,
Montana, is designated as
the time
and place for hearing objections
to the action proposed to be
taken in said Resolution No. 699,
and when and I
where any and all persons whose property is within said
tract may appear
and show CRuse if any they have against said proposed addition of said
tract to The Cit1 of Bozeman.
Objections must be made in writing and filed
with the Clerk of the City Commission not later than twenty (20)
days after
the da.te of the first publication of
this notice.
For a description of the bounda.ries of said tract,
reference is hereby
made to Commission Resolution No. 699 of The City of Bozeman which is on
file in the office of the undersigned Clerk of said Commission in
the Ci ty
Hall of said City of Bozeman,
and open for inspection
to all interested
parties and the public generally.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Charter4,
Section
11-403,
subsection 2, Revised Codes of Montana,
1947.
