COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 711
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN DETERMINING THE
AMOUNT OF CITY TAXES FOR ALL PURPOSES, GENERAL AND SPECIAL, TO BE LEVIED
AND ASSESSED ON TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
STATE OF M'JN'rANA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30th, 1952.
BE IT RESOLVYID BY 'rHE COMMISSION OF THE CI'rY OF BOZEMAN:

Sec tion l. That,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 8404701, Political
Code,
Revised Codes of Montana,
1947,
there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable per-
centum of the assessed value of the taxable property
of The City of Bozeman, State
of
Montana, as fixed and found by the Board of County Commissioners
of Gallatin County,
Montana, sitting as a County Board of Equalization for the
current fiscal year of 1951,
a tax of 27.5 Mills for General Municipal and Administrative purposes and for street and
alley maintenance.
Section 2. rrhat,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 44-301 Political Code, R.C.M.
1947 , there is hereby levied and assessed on the taxable
percentum of the assessed value
of the taxable property of The City of Bozeman, State
of Montana, for the current fiscal
year of 1951, for the support and maintenance of the free
public library of The City of
Bozeman a special tax of 3 Mills on each dollar of taxable percentum of the assessed
value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Library Fund and
shall be disbursed as rpovided by Ordinance No. 79
and Ordinance No. 5 2L~,
as amended
of said City;
Section 3. Thet,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 84.-4701, Political
Code,

Revised Codes of Montana 1947, there is hereby
levied and assessed on the taxable per-
centwn of the assessed value of the taxable property
of The City of Bozeman, M:)ntana,
for the current fiscal year 1951,
for the purpose of maintaining public parks in said
City, a special tax of 5 Mills on the taxable percentum of the
assessed value of the
taxable property of The City of Bozeman and the money derived therefrom s~ll be paid
into the Park Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by Ordinance No. 473 and Ordinance
No. 524,
as amended, of said City;
Section 4. The t,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1011, R. C. M.,
1947,
there is hereby levied and assessed on the
taxable percentum of the assessed value of the
taxable property within The City of Bozemen, Montana,
for the current fiscal yeer 1951,
for the purpose of providing band concerts for the entertainment of the people of said
City, a special tax of 0.5 Millon each dollar of the taxable percentum
of the assessed
valie of the taxable property of The City of Bozeman and
the money derived therefrom
shall be paid into the Band Concert F'und of said 01 ty and shall be disbursed as provided
by Ordinance No. 709 and Ordinance No.
524,
of said City;
Section 5. 'rhat,
pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1912, R. c.
M. , 1947,

there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the limits of The
City of Bozeman for the yeer 1951,
a
special tax of 0.1 Millon the dollar of such taxable
percentum of the assessed valuatLm
for the purposes of maintaining the Disability and Pension Fund of the F'ire Department
Relief Association of The City of Bozeman, and said tax when so collected shall be paid
into the Disability and Pension Fund of the Fire Department RAlief Association of The
Ci ty of Bozeman;

Section 6. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-1923,
R.
C. M. 1947,
there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed value
of all property within The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year 1951,
a special
tax of 0.5 Mill and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Police Reserve
Fund pursuant to the provisions of Commission Resolution No. 4,1.
Section 7. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 9-306,
R.
C. M., 1947 ,

there is hereby levied and assessed upon the taxable percentum of the assessed value
of all property within The City of Bozeman for the current fiscal year of 19,1,
a
special tax of 0.2 Mill and the money derived therefrom shall be paid into the Cemetery
Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by Ordinance No.
604,
of the City of Bozeman.
Section 8. That, pursuant to the provisions of Section 84.-4729,
R. C.M. ,

the toa1 levy of taxes for the current fiscal year of 1951,
by reason of the foregoing
determination, will and shall be as follows:
