A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CI'rY OF BOZ8IVIAN, MONTANA,
FINDING, AS
A RESULT OF A PUBLIC HEARING HELD AF'rER TEN DAYS PREVIOUS
NOTICE, THA'r 'rHERE
NO LONGER EXISTS SUCH A SHORTAGE OF' RENTAL HOUSING ACCOMODATIONS
IN SAID CITY
OF BOZEMAN AS TO REQUIRE RENT CONTROL THEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman did, on March 23,
2L and 25,

1951 pUblish a notice in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper in Bozeman,
Montana,
that there would be a public hearing held on the 3rd day of April,
1951, to
determine whether or not there no longer existed
such a shortage in rental housing ac-
commodations in said City of Bozeman as to require rent control therein; and
WHEREAS, a sworn affidavit of publication from said Bozeman Daily Chronicle veri-
fying said publication of said notice, as aforesaid, has been filed iwth the City
Clerk of the said City of Bozeman, Montana, and is attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, such pUblic hearing was duly held at a special meeting of the City Com-
mission of the City of Bozeman on the evening of April 3, 1951, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
with all interested citizens being allowed to present facts on such question; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has made a careful study of the testimony offered at
such hearing, including the exhibits offered and filed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE I'r RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1. That the City Commissio', does hereby find, as
a result of a public
hearing held after ten days notice, sworn proof of publication
of such notice being
attached hereto and made apart of this Resolution, that there no longer exists such

a shortage in rental housing accomodations as to require rent control in the City of
Bozeman, M~ntana.
Section 2.
That L. G. Shadoan, Clerk of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to
rrighe Wood, United States Housing Expeditor at Washington, D.
C.
Section 3. That all Resolution and parts of Resolution in
conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption ss
provided by law.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission at its regular meeting held on the 11th
day of April, A.D. 1951.
