MONTANA,
AS TO WHE'I'HER OR NOT T1ERE NO LONGER IXISTS SUCH A SHORTAGE

RENTAL HOUSDJG ACCOM~WDATIONS AS TO RECI.UIRE RENT CONTROL
IN THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN.

provided that

Provided,
however, That such re-
soltulon is first approved by the Governor
of the State before being
transmi tted to the Housing Espediter;" and
WHEREAS,
The City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, has been
requested to call and hold a public hearing under the provisions of the above
"Rousing and Rent Act of 1949;"
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTV!MISSION OF TIlE
CITY OF
BOZTIMAN, MCNTAFA:
Sec tion 1.
That the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
does hereby give notice the tit will hold a public
!learing at '1 ;30 0' clock
P.M. on AprLl 3,
1951, iri the Courtroom of
the 8i ty Hall, City of Bozeman,

Man tana , on
the auestion as stated in the "Housing
and Rent Act of 1949",
to wit:
That there no longer exists such a
shortage in rental housing
accommodations as to require rent control in tbe
City of LI, L.OIT1Lll, Montana.
Sec tion 2.
That notice of this public hearing shall be given p~blicity
in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and by legal
advertising of the same at least ten (10)
days previous to such meeting.
Section 3.
That the Clerk of the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman is hereby directed and authorized to carry out the provisions of
this Resolution in behalf of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Man tsna .
Section 4.
That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission at its ~egular meeting
held the 21st day of Marcn, 1951.
