A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ABANDONING
CIrry OF BOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMEN'r
DISTRICT NO. 151 AND ABANDONING THE MAINTE-
NANCE OF STREET PAR KINGS THEREUNDER,
PURSUANT TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE
AND PROVIDED, AND PURSUANT
TO AND IN CONFORMITY WITH COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO.
732 AS PASSED AND ADOPTED BY
SAID CITY COMMISSION OF THE 4th DAY OF FEBRUARY,AD 1953.
WHEREAS, The City Commission
of The City of Bozeman on the 4th day of February, A. D.
1953, passed and adop tedCmnmission
Resolution No. 732 declaring it to be the intention of
I said Commission to abandon
City of Bozeman Special Improvement District No. 151 and to
abandon the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution, of record
and on file in the office of the Clerk of said City Commission and open to the inspection
of the public,
is hereby referred to for further particulnrs; and
WHEREAS, Due proof has been
made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 732 was duly
made and given as by law provided; and
WHI,!;REAS, At the time and
place fixed in said Resolu,tion No. 732 for the making and
fIling of a protest against
the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 151,
and the abandonment of the
maintenance of street parkings thereunder, to-wit, at the hour
of 1:00 o'clock P.M. on Wednesday,
the 18th day of February, A. D.
1953, being a regular
meeting til1e of said City
Commission, at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall BuIlding
of The City of Bozeman, no
protests were made or filed against the abandonment of said
Special Improvement District
No. 151 or against the abandonment of maintenance of street
parkings thereunder.
NI)W THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL
ED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BO ZEMAN:
Section 1.
That said Special Improvement District No. 151 of The Ci ty of Boz eman,
I State of Montana, and
the maintenance of street parkings thereunder be and the same is
hereby abandoned.
S e c t ion 2.
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abu~tng said District
to maintain the same fro~1
and after the date of this Resoluticm and such abandonment
shall not relieve said property
owners from the assessment and payment of a sufficient
amount ot liquidate all hcarges
existing against said District prior to the date of
abandonment.
Passed and adopted by the Commission
of The City of Bozeman at a regular session
thereof held on the 4th day
of March,1953.
