NOW, 'l'HEP;;I"ORE, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 52'5 to 5277.5 and 5hU.s, R. C. M., 1935 and amendments thereto, BE 1'1' -rESOLVED AIm IT IS lE~REBY ORDERED BY 'rHE COMMISSION OF 'rHE CI'l'Y DF BOZ':':MAN, S'rATE OJ" M()NTANA: Section l. That to defray the cost and expense of constr~.1.cting and making the improve- ments in said Special Improvement District No. 375, there be, and there is hereby levied and assessed a tax amounting to the sum of Six Thousand Five Ihmdred Ninety-nine and 42/100 ($6,599.42) . upon all the property in said Special ImDJ'ovement District No. 375, that a particular description of each lot and parcel of land with the name of the owner and the sum assessed against him or it f'or such impro'ements and the amount of each partial pay- ment to be made and the day when the same shall be dlinquent is set forth in detail in the assessment list hereto attached, marked Schedule "A", and made a part hereof; that the several sums set opposite the names of the owners and the des(;ribed lots and parcels of land be, and the same are hereby respectively levied and assessed upon and agBinst said I described lots and parcels of land to defray the cost and expense of constrlwting and making the improvements within said District; that the several sums so assessed be collected from the respective owners of said lots and parcels of land described in said 8ssessment list, Schedul "A", as req"ired by law; that the payment of said s\~S shall be made in twenty installments and the payment of said installments shall extend over a period or nineteen years; that the payment of the respective annual installments shall be made on or before ~ 468 the 30th day of November of each ye0r Imtil Davment of all installments together with the interest thereon, shall \)e made; that said sums shall be paid and the collection thereof shall be made in the manner and in ac~ordance with the law governing the collection of special improvement taxes; that f'ailure to pay snch assessments when the same become due and payable shall make such persons and said lots and parcels of land liable to the penalties prov ded by law relative to delinquent taxes. Section 2. 'I'h8 t the Clerk of the Comrti s s lon of' 'J.'he City 0 f 302 sman be, and he is hereby ordered and directed to ')ublish in the Bozecnan Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper printed and publlsed in the said Gity of Bo~~eman, a notice signed by the Clerk of the Commission and stating that a Resolution levying and assessing a special assessment of taxes to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making the improvements in the said Special Improvement District No. 375 is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission subject to inspection for a period of five (5) days; that said NotIce shall state the time and place at which objection will be heard by the Commission to the final adoption of this Resolution; that it shall be published at least five (5) days before the day set by the Commiss:i.on for the hearing of' objections and the final adoption of this Resolution. Provisionally passed and adopted by the Com~ission of The City of Bozeman at a I regular session thereof held on the 20th day of October, 1954. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at a regular sessi..on of the Commission of '1'he City of Bozeman held on the 20th day of October, 1954, Commission Resolution No. 778 was provisionally passed and adopted; that said Commission Resolution levies and assesses I a special assessment of taxes upon all the property in oJpecial Improvement District No. 375 in said City, to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making the improvements within said District, to-wit: BEGINNING AT the Northeast Corner of Lot Seventeen (17), of Block A, of Tracy's Second Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana, thence WeJterly along the South Line of West Lamme Street to the Northwest Corner of Lot Sixteen (16), of Block B of said Addition; thence Southerly along the West lines of Lots Sixteen (16) B1'lid Five (5) of said Block B, to the South west Corner of said Lot Five (5); thence Easterly along the North line of West Mendenhall Street to the South east Corner Resolution No. 778 -.-, -... - -...---" . .- of Lot Eight (8), of said Block A; thence Northerly along the East line of Lots 469 Eigh t (8) and Seventeen (17), of said Block A, to the point of beginning. That, said Commission Resolution No. 770 is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission, su bject to inspection for a period of five LS) days by any persons interested. That Wednesday, the 27th day of October, 1954, at 1:00 o'clock P.M., of said day at the regular session of the said Commission of The City of I Bozeman, at the Commission Room, in the City Hall rluilding of said City, has been designated as the time and place when and where the said Commission will hear and pass u~on any and all objections that may be made to the final passage and adoption of said Resolution No. 778, and the levying of said assessment, and that said Resolution will be finally passed and adopted at saId regular session. All persons interested are referred to Commission Resolution No. 754 declaring it to be the iltention of the ComMission to create Special Improvement District No. 375, and Commission Resolution No. 760, creating Special Improvement District No. 375, for constructing and making the improvements therein.
