17. DIRECTIONS TO THE SITE
Off I-90 at Belgrade,drive south to Four Comers,take east Huffine Lane to Cottonwood Road,turn north,take Durston Road east,turn
north on Flanders Mill Rd to substation on east side of Flanders Mill Rd,which is situated approximately midway on west side of project
site. See Figure 1 in attached u1furmation-
18. Nature of Activity(Description of project,include all features)
In general,the project is being developed for residential housing,which will also include buildout of major City streets along the project
perimeters(Ferguson Lane,Flanders Mill Road)and through the project(Oak Street). Wetlands will be filled to accommodate the
subdivision,and a small(<4 feet wide)UT Baxter Creek will be realigned and enhanced to provide public park and recreational areas and
to create a woody riparian wetland stream corridor(there are virtually no shrubs or trees along the current watercourse).

19. Project Purpose(Describe the reason or purpose of the project,see instructions)
1. The purpose of the project is to provide residential housing and to improve/buildout adjoining city streets.
2. The UT Baxter Creek will be realigned and enhanced to provide enjoyment of the public;the stream will be located within public
parkland.
3. The Baxter-Border Stream will be realigned approximately 30 feet south of its current location along the south side of Baxter Lane.
The City of Bozeman would like this stream removed from its current location in the borrow ditch to decrease road hazard.
4. Housing construction will be phased over 5 to 10 years. Stream realignments will occur in 2014.
