MEETING DATE: July 9, 2007 RECOMMENDATION: Make appointments to fill up to eleven vacancies for the Mayors’ Climate Protection Agreement Task Force. BACKGROUND: The MCPA Task Force was created under the Mayors’ Climate Protection Agreement signed on November 27, 2007 to establish a Climate Action Plan for the city of Bozeman. The Task Force shall consist of twelve members to be appointed by the City Commission. Members shall be appointed so that the membership shall be as follows: 1. Appointment of a twelve (12) member Task Force consisting of the following categories: • Business/Building Industry (2 representatives) • Utility Industry (1 representative) • MSU Representative (1 representative) • Transportation (1 representative) • Scientists (2 representatives) • Environmental Organizations (2 representatives) • Non-Profits (2 representatives) • Citizen-at-large (1 representative These applicants are qualified to fill the following vacancies.
