*Consider a motion approving Consent items 1 – 8 listed above.
F. Public Comment - Please state name and address in an audible tone of voice for
the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling within
the purview of the Bozeman City Commission. There will also be an opportunity
in conjunction with each agenda item for comments pertaining to that item.
Please limit your comments to 3 minutes.
G. Action Items
1. Resolution No. 4024, Learning Circle Montessori Elementary School, Inc.
and the issuance of a revenue note to finance the costs of acquiring a
building to be used as a private elementary school (Horatio Potter, Board
President, Learning Circle Montessori Elementary School)
*Consider a motion adopting Resolution No. 4024 if the Commission determines that the
project is in the public interest of the City of Bozeman.
2. Presentation, Discussion and Direction Concerning Mail Ballots for 2007
Municipal Elections (Charlotte Mills, Gallatin County Clerk and
Recorder)
*Consider directing staff to prepare a resolution notifying the Gallatin County Election
Administrator of the City’s desire to conduct the 2007 municipal primary election (if
held) and the 2007 municipal general election by mail ballot in accordance with 13-19-
202 Montana Code Annotated.
3. Bozeman Community Plan Update (2020 Plan) - Joint Meeting of the City
Commission and Planning Board with Clarion Associates of Fort Collins,
CO (Saunders/Sanford)
*Consider providing the representatives from Clarion Associates with feedback on the
following:
1. Commission ideas about the 2020 Plan. What is working or what is not
working?
2. How well does recent development reflect community goals in the Plan?
3. Ideas or questions about this project?
4. Who else should be involved?
AND
*Consider whether to pursue the new options provided by Senate Bills 201 and 51 which
will require revising the planning process to accommodate the requirements of provision.
4. FY2007-2008 City Manager's Recommended Budget Presentation
(Kukulski/Rosenberry)
*Consider providing comment and asking questions related to the City Manager's
Recommended Budget.
