COMMISSION MEMORANDUM
To: Mayor Krauss and City Commissioners

Re: Downtown TIF Board Appointment
Commission Meeting Date: June 16, 2014
RECOMMENDATION: The Downtown TIF Board would like to recommend that Bob Lashaway be re-appointed to the expiring voting position that he currently
holds and that Shannon Haish and Scott Lee be re-appointed to the non-voting positions they currently hold.
BACKGROUND: The Downtown Tax Increment Finance (TIF) Board consists of 5
voting members and 2 non-voting members. The board would benefit greatly from the continued service of Ms. Laird, Mr. Hietala, and Mr. Stoddart as they have considerable experience
in the business, economic development and financial sectors respectively.
EFFECTS: This action would ensure the TIF Board maintains the statutorily required number of voting members
of five persons. This action would also fill the two non-voting seats.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the Mayor or City Commissioners
