COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 915
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
DECLARING I'l' TO BE THE INTENTION OF SAID COMMISSION TO VACATE A
PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK "C", ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF 'I'HE CITY
OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, certain property owners owning proper ty aOO tting an alley in Block "C",
Original Townsite of the City of Bozeman have presented to the City Commission a pet-
I ition asking the City Commission to institute the necessary proceedings to vacate a
portion of an existing alley in Block "C", Original Townsite of the City of Bozeman;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the same may be vacated without detriment to the public
interest and should be vacated in the public interest; -,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZ~~AN:
Section 1
Declaration of Intention
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the Commission of the City of Boze-
man to vacate the following described portion of an alley in Block "C", Original Town-
site of the City of Bozeman:
That portion of the existing alley in Block "C", Original Town-
site of the City of Bozeman, extending east from the east line
of I::)outh Bozeman AVenue a distance of approximately 96'6" to a
line which is 6'6" west from and parallel to the west line of
lots 4 and 33 of said Block "C".
subject to objection of owners of property affected by such proposed vacation, in
accordance with the provisions of Section 11-3310 of the Revised Cod~of Montana, 1947.
Section 2
Time for Objection
That the regular meeting of the Commission of the City of Bozeman to be held on
Wednesday, the 3rd day of September 1958, at the hour of 1:00 o'clock P.M. of said day
I at the Commission Room in the City Hall building, Bozeman, Montana, is the time when
and place where the City Commission will consider and pass upon objections to said pro-
posed vacation and the City Manager is directed to give notice thereof in the manner
and for the time as provided in said Section 11-331U of the Revised Codes of Mon tana,
1947.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission at its regular meeting held on the 20th

NOTICE OF HEARING ON RESOLUTION NO. 915 OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A POR-
TION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK "C", ORIGINAL TOWNSITE OF THE CITY OF
BOZ EMAN.
I NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commission of the City of Bozeman has adopted a
resolution declaring it to be the intention of said Commission to pass an ordinance
vaca ting a portion of an alle y in Block" C" , Original Townsite of the City of Bozeman
described as follows:
That portion of the existing alley in Block "C", Original Townsite
of the City of Bozeman, extending east from the east line of South
Bozeman Avenue a distance of approxirna tely 96 '6" to a line which is
6' 6" wes t from and parallel to the wes t line of Lots 4 and 33 of said
Bloc k "C It I
the City Commission being of the opinion, after due consideration, that said petition
may be granted without detriment to the public interest and should be granted in the

public interest.
And notice is further hereby given that any and all objections to the passage and
adoption of such an ordinance of vacation will be heard and considered by the City Com-
mission at its regular meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 3rd day of September 1958,
at the hour of one o'clock P.M. at the Commission Room in the City Hall Building, Boze-
man, Montana
