COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO.896
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, ABANDONING CITY OF BOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DIS-
~RICT NO. 114 AND ABANDONING THE 1ffiINTENANCE OF STREET PARK-
INGS THEREUNDER, PURSUANT TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE
AND PROVIDED, AND PURSUANT TO AND IN CONFORMITY WITH COMMISS-
ION RESOLUTION NO. 894 AS PASSED AND ADOPTED BY SAID CITY
COMMISSION ON THE 16th DAY OF APRIL, A.D. 1958 I
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman on the 16th day of April, A.D.
1958, passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 894 declaring it to be the intention
of said Commission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement District No. 114 and
to abandon the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution of re-
cord and on file in the office of the Clerk of said City Commission and open to the in-
spection of the public, is hereby referred to for further partic~lars, and
WHEREAS, due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of
said Resolution No. 894 was duly made and given as by law providESd; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 894 for the making and
filing of protests against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 114,
and the abandonment of the maintenance 01' street parkings thereunder, to-wit, at the
hour of 1:00 o'clock p.m., Wednesday, the 30th day of April, A.D. 1958, being a regular
meeting time 01' said City Commission, at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall building
of the City of Bozeman, no protests were made or filed against the abandonment of said
Special Improvement District No. 114 or against the abandonment of maintenance of street
parkings thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY mE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:

That said Special Improvement District No. 114 of the City 01' Bozeman, State of
Montana, and the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, be and the same is hereby
abandoned.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutting said District to maintain I
the same from and after the date of this Resolution and such abandonment shall not re-
lieve said property owners from the assessment and payment of a su1'ficient amount to
liquidate all charges existing against said District prior to the date of abandonment.
Passed and adopted by the Commission 01' the City 01' Bozeman at a regular session
thereo1' held on the 30th day of April 1958.
