COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 895
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
ABANDONING CITY OF BOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 57 AND
ABANDONING THE MAINTENANCE OF STREET PARKINGS TfmRIDJNDER, PURSUANT
TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE AND PROVIDED, AND PURSUANT TO AND
IN COMFORMITY WI'TH COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 893 AS PASSED AND ADOPT-
ED BY SAID CITY COMMISSION ON THE 16TH DAY OF APRIL A.D. 1958.
I WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman on the 16th day of April, S.D.
1958, passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 893 declaring it to be the in-
tention of said Commission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement District
No.5? and to abandon the maintenance of street pirklngs tlereunder, which said Re-
solution of record and on file in the office of the Clerk of said City Commission
and open to the inspection of the public, is hereby referred to for further part-
iculars; and
WHEREAS, due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 893 was duly made and given as by law provided; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 893 for the making and
filing of protests against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 57,
and the abandonment of the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, to-wit, a t the
hour of 1:00 o'clock p.m., on Wednesday, the 30th day of April A.D. 1958, being a
regular meeting time of said City Commission, at the Commission Chambel' in the Clt:r Hall
building of the City of Bozeman, no protests were made or filed aginst the abandonment
of said Special Improvement District No. 57 or against the abandonment of maintenance of
street parklngs thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That said Special Improvement District No. 57 of the City of Bozeman, State of
Montana, and the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, be and the same is hereby
abandoned.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutting said District to maintain
the same from and after the date of this Resolution and such abandonment shall not re-
I lieve said property owners from the assessment and payment of a su!ficient amount to
liquidate all charges existing against said District prior to the date of abandonment.

certify that the fore~oing Resolution no. 895 was published by title and number
in the Bozeman Dailyhronicle, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in said City in the issue of May 2nd, 1958, and due proof of such pub-
lication is on file in my office.
