Hello,
My name is Mercedes Burgos-Gruby and my child, Ave M., goes to the Hawk’s Nest Early learning
Center brought on by the YMCA. We love it there! Soon Ava and I will be in a transition period, because
of her age, to regular school instead of a daycare facility. She is ready, however I have my concerns.
I was recently given information about the building and combining of a new full facility in the regional
park. And because of all of the amenities in the surrounding area I believe it would be a HUGE
improvement to our community to build and develop with the Gallatin Valley YMCA.
As Ava gets older I will be looking for clean safe facility for us to enjoy our time together. In the
summer while I continue to work full time to support us; I will be looking for fun safe activities for my
child to join; I will first be turning to the YMCA for their summer programs at (hopefully) their new
location!
