COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 877
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ABANOONING CITY
OF BOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 72 AND ABANDONING THE MAINTENANCE OF STREET
PARKINGS THEREUNDER, PURSUANT TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE AND PROVIDED, AND
PURSUANT TO AND IN CONFORMITY WITH COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 876 AS PASSED AND AOOPTED
BY SAID CITY COMMISSION ON THE 11TH DAY OF DECEMBER, A.D. 1957.
WTiliREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman on the 11th day of December, A.D. 1957, I
passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 876 declaring it to be the intention of said Com-
mission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement District No. 72 and to abandon the
maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution of record and on file in the
office of the Clerk of said City Commission and open to the inspection of the public, is hereby
referred to for further particulars, and
WHEREAS, due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 876 was duly made and given as by law provided; and
WHEREAS, At the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 876 for the making and filing of
protests against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 72, and the abandonment
of the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, to wit, at the hour of 1:00 o'clock P.M. on
Thursday, the 26th day of December, A.D. 1957, being a regular meeting time of said City Commission,
at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall building of the City of Bozeman, no protests were made
or filed against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 72 or against the abandon-
ment of maintenance of street parkings thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That said Special Improvement District No. 72 of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, and the
maintenance of street parkings thereunder, be and the same is hereby abandoned.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutt-ing said District to maintain the same from
and after the date of this Resolution and such abandonment shall not relieve sa5rl property owners
from the assessment and payment of a sufficient amount to liquidate all charges existing against
said District prior to the date of abandonment. I
Passed and adopted by the Commission of the City of Bo~eman at a regular session thereof
held on the 26th day of December 1957.

the foregoing Resolution was published by title and number in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a
newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City in the issue of December
27th, 1957, and that due proof of such publication is on file in my office.
