COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 874
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 00 ZEMAN , MONTANA, ABANOONING
CITY OF OOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 31 AND ABANOONING THE MAINTENANCE
OF STREET PARKINGS THEREUNDER, PURSUANT TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE AND
PROVIDED, AND PURSUANT TO AND IN CONFORMITY WITH COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 871 AS
PASSED AND AWPTED BY SAID CITY COMMISSION ON THE 27TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, A.D. 1957.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman on the 27th day of November A.D. I
1957, passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 871 declaring it to be the intention of
said Commission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement District No. 31 and to abandon
the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution of record and on file in
the office of the Clerk of said City Commission and open to the inspection of the public, is
hereby referred to for further particulars, and
WHEREAS, due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 871 was duly made and given as by law provided; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 871 for the making and filing
of protests against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 31, and the
abandonment of the maintenance of street parkings therpunder, to wit, at the hour of 1:00 o'clock
P.M. on Wednesday, the 11th day of December, A.D. 1957, being a regular meeting time of said City
Commission, at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall building of the City of Bozeman, no pro-
tests were made or filed against the abandoment of said Special Improvement District No. 31 or
against the abandonment of maintenance of street parkings thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That said Special Improvement District No. 31 of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, and
the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, be and the same is hereby abandoned.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutting said District to maintain the same
from and after the date r.f trds Resolution and such abandonment shan not relieve said property
owners from the assessment and payment of a suff1_cient amount to liquidate all charges existing I
against said District prior to the date of abandonment.
Passed and adopted by the Commission of the City of Bozeman at a regular session thereof
held on the 18th day of December, 1957.

of general circulation printed and published in said City in the issue of December 20th, 1957, and
