COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 873
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, ABANroNING CITY
OF BOZEMAN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 18 AND ABANroNING THE MAINTENANCE OF
STREET PARKINGS THEREUNDER, PURSUANT TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE AND PROVIDED,
AND PURSUANT TO AND IN CONFORMITY WITH COMMISSION RESOUJTION NO. 870 AS PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY SAID CITY COMMISSION ON THE 27TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, A. D. 1957.
I WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman on the 27th day of November, A.D. 1957,
passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 870 declaring it to be the intention of said Com-
mission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement ~strict No. 18 and to abandon the
maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution of record and on file in the
office of the Clerk of said City Commission and open to the inspection of the public, is hereby
referred to for further particulars, and
WHEREAS, due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 870 was duly made and given as by law provided; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 870 for the making and filing of
protests against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 18, and the abandonment
of the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, to wit, at the hour of 1:00 o'clock P.M. on
Wednesday, the 11th day of December, A.D. 1957, being a regular meeting time of said City Com-
mission, at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall building of the City of Bozeman, no protests
were made or filed against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 18 or against
the abandonment of maintenance of street parkings thereunder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF IDZEMAN:
Section 1
That said Special Improvement District No. 18 of the City of Bozeman, State of Montana, and
the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, be and the same is hereby abandoned.
Section 2
It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutting said District to maintain the same
from and after the date of this Resolution and such abandonment shall not relieve said property
owners from the assessment and p~ent of a sufficient amount to liquidate all charges existing
I against said District prior to the date of abandonment.
Passed and adopted by the Commission of the City of Bozeman at a regular session thereof
held on the 18th day of December, 1957.
