MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION

The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in the Community Room, Gallatin County
Courthouse, 311 West Main Street, on Monday, August 7, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. Present were Mayor
Jeff Krauss, Cr. Sean Becker, Cr. Jeff Rupp, Cr. Kaaren Jacobson, Cr. Steve Kirchhoff, City
Manager Chris Kukulski, Assistant City Manager Ron Brey, Director of Finance Anna Rosenberry,
Director of Public Safety – Fire Chick Winn, Director of Public Safety – Police Mark Tymrak,
Director of Public Service Debra Arkell, Assistant Planning Director Chris Saunders, Assistant City
Attorney Tim Cooper, and City Clerk Brit Fontenot.

Mayor Krauss called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.

City Manager Chris Kukulski clarified that Agenda Item H2., published as
"BID"; the Downtown Bozeman Improvement District Board is actually
referred to as the "IDB". He also stated that Agenda item G4., Board of
Adjustments Zone Code Amendment, could be brought back or tabled for a
future meeting. Mr. Kukulski reminded the Commission that this would not
be the first reading of the ordinance.

Resolution of Intent to maintain a leash-free status in Burke Park as
recommended by the Bozeman Recreation and Parks subcommittee on
dog issues and that other aspects of the dog committee will be discussed
later in the evening.

for capital improvements related to the facility plan recommendations

associated with removal including, but not limited, to State, DEQ and
municipal assistance.
