HomeMy WebLinkAboutG6 Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Bob Murray, Project Engineer Chris Kukulski, City Manager SUBJECT: WWTP Storage Maintenance Building Project MEETING DATE: 4/19/06 BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy, of change order number 2 for the above referenced project. The change order includes additional paving in front of the new building that was requested by the treatment plant staff. There is also additional contract time given for a few delays outside of the scope of the contract. The change order increases the contract amount from $396,032.44 by $3,506.00 to a total of $399,538.04. There is also an increase in the contract time of 19 days with this change. The final recommended price for this change is reasonable and commensurate with the work involved. RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign the change order.
