HomeMy WebLinkAboutE3 Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Bob Murray, Project Engineer Chris Kukulski, City Manager SUBJECT: Durston Road N. 7th to N. 19th MEETING DATE: 5/16/06 BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy, of the Notice of Award for the above referenced project. This project is the complete reconstruction of Durston Road from North 7th Avenue to North 19th Avenue. Bids for the above-referenced project were opened on May 9, 2006 with 2 bids being submitted. The low bid was submitted by JTL Group, Inc in the amount of $2,306,869.95. The Bid Tabulation for the project is attached. The total project costs (construction and engineering) are currently estimated to be $2,761,909.95. This project will be funded through a combination of G.O. Bond and Impact Fees. The G.O. Bond has a current balance of $1,591,347 which all be utilized on this project, with the remainder coming from the street impact fee fund. RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign the Notice of Award. FISCAL EFFECTS: To be paid from the G.O.
