TO THE STATUTES IN SUCH CASES MADE AND PROVIDED, AND PURSUANT 'ro AND
IN CONFORMI'I'Y WITH COMMISSION ~UTION NO. 798 AS PASSED AND ADOPTED
BY SAID CI'rY COMMISSION ON THE M DAY OFSEPTEMBER, A.D. 1955

WHEREAS, The City Commission of\~he City of Bozeman on the 28th day of September,
I A.D. 195.5, passed and adopted Commi:3sion Resolution No. 798 declaring it to be the inten-
tion of sald Commission to abandon City of Bozeman Special Improvement District No. 68
and to abandon the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, which said Resolution, of
record and on file in the office of the Clerk of said City Co~mission and open to the in-
spection of the public, is hereby referred to for further particulars; and
WHEREAS, Due proof has been made that publication of notice of the adoption of said
Resolution No. 198 was duly made and given as by law provided; and
WH~REAS, At the time and place fixed in said Resolution No. 198 for the making and
filing of a protest against the abandonment of said Special Improvement District No. 68,
and the abandonment of the maintenance of street parkings thereunder, to-wit, at the hour
of 1:00 o'clock P.M. on Wednesday, the 19th day of October, A.D. 1955, being a regular
meeting time of said City Commission, at the Commission Chamber in the City Hall building
of The City of Bozeman, no protests were made or filed against the abandonment of said
Special Irnprovement District No. 68 or against the abandonment of maintenance of street
par kings thereunder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
I Section 1. That said Special Improvement District No. 68 of The City of Bozeman,
State of Montana, and the maintenance of street parkings thereunde~ be and the same is
hereby abandoned.
Section 2. It shall be the duty of the owners of property abutting said District
to maintain the same from and after the date of this Resolution and such abandonment shall
not relieve said prJperty owners from the assessment and payment of a sufficient amount
to liquidate all charges existing against said District prior to the date of abandonment.
Passed and adopted by the Commission of The City of Bozeman at a regular session
thereof held on the 26th day of October, 1955.
