COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 792
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, DECLAR-
ING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF SAID COMMISSION TO VACATE AN ALLEY IN BLOCK
SEVEN (7) OF FAIRVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, certain persons claiming to be the owners of property in Block Seven
(7) of Falrview Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana, have filed with the City I
Commission their petition for the vacation of an alley in said Block Seven (7) of
Fairview Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana, and the City Commission having
duly considered said petition and after such consideration having determined that
the prayer thereof may be granted without detriment to the public interest and
should be granted in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION of THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1.
Declaration of Intention
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the Commission of the City of Bozeman
to vacate the alley in Block Seven (7) of Falrview Addition to the City of Bozeman,
Montana, upon the petition of certain persons claiming to be the owners of property
in Block Seven (7) of Fairview Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana, which said
alley is more particularly described ae a strip of ground of the width of twenty (20)
feet off of the entire North side of Lot Fifteen (15) in Block Seven (7) of Fairview
Addition to said City of Bozeman, as the said Lot and Block are numbered and designat-
ed and deecribed upon the official plat and survey of said Addition now on file and of I
record in the office of the County Recorder in and for said County, subject to objec-
tions of owners of property affected by such proposed vacation, in accordance with the
provisions of Section 11-3310 of the Revised Codes of Montana, 1947.
Section 2.
Time for Objection
That the regular meeting of the Commission of the City of Bozeman to be held on
Wednesday, the 31st day of August, 1955, at the hour of one o'clock P.M. of said day,
is the time when and the place where the City Commission will consider and paBs upon
objections to said proposed vacation and the City Manager is directed to give notice
thereof in the manner and for the time as provided in said Section 11-3310 of the
Revised Codes of Montana, 1947.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION OF CERTIN PERSONS CLAIMING
TO BE THE OWNERS OF PROPERTY IN BLOCK SEVEN (7) OF FAIRVIEW
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO VACATE THE ALLEY
IN SAID BLOCK SEVEN (7).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the Commission of the City of Bozeman has adopted
I a Resolution declaring it to be the intention of said Commission to pass an Ordinance
vacating the alley in Block Seven (7) of Fairview Addition to the City of Bozeman,
Montana, in accordance with the petition of certain persons claiming to be the owner8
of property in Block Seven (7) of Fairview Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana,
which said alley is more particularly described as a strip of ground of the width of
twenty (20) feet off of the entire North side of Lot Fifteen (15) in Block Seven (7)
of Fairview Addition to the said Ci ty of Bozeman, as said Lot and Block are numbered
and designated and described upon the official plat and survey of said Addition now
on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Gallatin County,
the City Commission being of the opinion, after due consideration, that said petition
may be granted without detriment to the public interest and should be granted in the
public interest.
And notice is hereby further given that any and all objections to the passage
and adoption of such an Ordinance of vaCB tion will be heard and considered by the
City Commission at its regular meeting to be held on Wednesday, the 31st day of
August, 1955, at the hour of one o'clock P.M. at the Commission Room in the City
I Hall Building, Bozeman, Montana.
