NO. 2090
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY TO
ANNEX A
CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE VALLEY
UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Commission
of the City of Bozeman,

a request to annex a contiguous tract of land to the City of Bozeman, which is described
as follows:
The NE~ of Section 10, Township 2 South, Range 5 East, M.P.M., Gallatin County,
Montana, EXCEPTING THEREFROM a tract of land in the
NE~ NE~ of said Section 10,
more particularly described as follows,
to-wit: Beginning at the Section Corner
common to Sections 2, 3, 10 and 11 of said Township and Range, thence Bearing South
00 06' East, along the East line of said Section 10, a distance of 214.42 feet.
Thence North 360 00' West, a distance of 100.60 feet, Thence due North, a distance
of 133.00 feet, to the North line of said Section 10.
Thence East along the North
line of said Section 10, a distance of 55.05 feet,
to the point of beginning, ac-
cording to survey recorded in Book 155, page 57.
The SE~ of Section 10, Township 2 South, Range 5 East, M.P.M., Gallatin County,
Montana, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following described tract of land: Beginning
at the E~ corner of Section 10 in Township 2 South of Range 5 East, M.P.M., and
bearing North 880 51' West along the North line of the SE~, a distance of 320.0
feet, thence South 20 28' West and parallel to the East line of said Section 10,
a distance of 204.18 feet thence South 880 51' East and parallel to the North
line of said SE~ a distance of 320.0 feet, thence North 20 28' East along the
east line of said Section 10, a distance of 204.18 feet to the point of beginning.
TOGETHER WITH the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging
or in anywise appertaining
thereto.
SUBJECT TO any and all easements, rights of way, restrictive covenants and reser-
vations of record.
and, whereas, it will be for the best interest of the City
of Bozeman and the inhabitants
hereof and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tract hereinbefore described to annex said

contiguous tract to the City of Bozeman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1
That a report of Planned Services,
for the area to be annexed as required by Section
7-2-4732 M.C.A., is available in the office of the
City-County Planning Board in the City
Hall of the City of Bozeman, Montana.
Section 2
That on Wednesday, the 19th
day of September, 1979, at 1:15 o'clock at the Commission
Room of the City Hall Building,
Bozeman, Montana, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman
will hold a public hearing on said report of Planned Services at which time and place all
residents of the City of Bozeman will be given an
opportunity to be heard.
Section 3
That the Clerk of the City Commission is hereby directed to cause notice of public hearing,
describing the boundaries of the area to be annexed,
fixing the date, hour and place of the
public hearing, and stating that the annexation report is available in the office of the City-
County Planning Board in the City Hall Building of the City of Bozeman, to be published in
the Bozeman Daily Chronicle once a week for four (4) successive weeks prior to the date of the

hearing. The last date of the publication shall not be more than
seven (7) days preceding
the date of the public hearing.
Section 4
That for a period of twenty (20) days after the public hearing provided for in Section
7-2-4710 M.C.A., the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman will receive written expression
of approval or disapproval of the proposed annexation from resident freeholders of the terri-
tory proposed to be annexed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, at a regular

NO. 2090 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, DECLARING
IT TO BE THE INTENTION
OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN TO EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF
SAID CITY TO EMBRACE AND
INCLUDE A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND ADJOINING SAID CITY.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on th~ 15th day of August, 1979,
at a regular meeting of the
City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana, said Commission duly and regularly passed
and adopted Commission Resolution No. 2090
entitled:
A RESOLUTION DECLARING
THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, TO
EXTEND THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY TO ANNEX A
CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND
HEREIN DESCRIBED.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN, that Wednesday, the 19th day
of September, 1979, at 1:15
o'clock P.M. at the Commission Room of the City
Hall, Bozeman, Montana, is designated as the
time and place for hearing objections to the action proposed to embrace the hereinafter
I described contiguous territories within the corporate limits of the City of Bozeman, Montana.
Expressions of approval or disapproval by resident freeholders of the territories proposed to
be embraced must be made in writing and filed with the Clerk of the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman not later than twenty (20) days after the date of the first publication of
this notice.
A description of the boundaries of the territories proposed to
be embraced by said Com-
mission Resolution No. 2090 is as follows:
