Relevant qualifications, interests, and experiences:
As a senior transportation engineer with Sanderson Stewart, I have extensive experience with bike and
pedestrian planning and design, as well as traffic engineering and roadway design expertise. Relevant
projects include the Heritage Trail Plan and Design Standards for Trails and Bikeways (Billings, MT), as
well as Safe Routes to School studies for Anderson School in Bozeman, two schools in Ranchester, WY,
and eleven schools in Billings, MT. I have also completed the design and construction administration of
numerous projects including sidewalks, multiāuse trails, and enhanced street crossings. I am familiar
with local design standards and policies related to pedestrians and bicycles, as well national advocacy
movements and design standards, such as ADA and AASHTO guidelines. I feel that I possess both the
passion and the experience needed to provide valuable input to this committee.
