Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests and experiences.: Please consider my
application for a seat on the Economic Development Council starting in February 2014. My
career has helped mold me into a self-disciplined, creative, enthusiastic, and tenacious
professional with extensive B2B sales experience with global companies having fast-paced,
high-energy environments. After graduating from Texas Christian University I worked in a
variety of creative and management positions at a Dallas-based production company. In
December 2008 my supervisors asked me to take a position that was more client-facing and
promoted me to Account Director. My primary directive was to seek out and attain new
corporate clients. I left Dallas in October 2012 when I was asked by Jon Edwards to head the
local marketing and corporate sales divisions at Schnee’s. I was drawn to Bozeman because of
the incredible growth that is occurring and the opportunities that are evident everywhere you
turn. Upon meeting with Brit Fontenot I was compelled to apply for a position on this council. I
share his vision of industry diversification and attracting higher paying jobs to Bozeman. Both of
these can be accomplished while also ensuring that Bozeman maintains those traits that make it
an attractive place to live and work. I firmly believe that my insight into the outdoor industry, as
well as my fervent desire to see Bozeman prosper, makes me an ideal candidate for this position.
