(Yes/No) (If so, where, what board, and how long?) Yes; member of the Historic Preservation Advisory Board for approximately the last three years. Please explain your relevant qualifications, interests, and experiences. I am applying for the Architectural Historian position on the DRB. I have an MA degree in history from Montana State University, and have worked as an architectural historian in Montana since 1987. I have a broad background -- and strong interest -- in the built environment of Bozeman and southwestern Montana. As a current member of the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board, I would hope to use my DRB membership in part to strengthen communication between the two boards. Note that work-related travel might require me to miss a small number of meetings over the course of the year, but I will make an effort to attend as many meetings as possible -- and all of those at which historic properties are discussed.
