My interests lie in cultural heritage, historic preservation and the importance of engaging the public in the history of their community and built environment. I was born and raised in Livingston, MT and attended Montana State University, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a Master's degree in history. Upon graduation, I moved to San Diego, CA and worked at the La Jolla historical society, trying to save historic beach cottages from demolition. From there I moved the Wells Fargo History Museum and worked as a curator for five years. I moved back to Bozeman three years ago and currently work for Project Archaeology, a national heritage education program located at Montana State University. My position at Project Archaeology involves public outreach and education. I work specifically with educators and students to promote cultural heritage and archaeological site stewardship.
