A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AUTHORIZING FRED M. STAUDAHER AS MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN TO ACCEP'I' 'liRE OFFER OF A FEDERAL GRAN'l' BY THE
UNrrED STATES uF AMERICA$ PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE, TO PARTI-
CIPATE IN THE AMOUNT OF 50,37U.uO IN THE CUST OF ~iE CON-
STRUCTION OF INTERCEPTOR SEWERS TO SERVE THE WEST AREAS, ..

AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, TO MAKE THE ASSURANCES REQUIRED BY TBE SURGEON
GENERAL OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE AS A CONDI'l'ION TO SAID
FEDERAL GRANT
WHEREAS, the rublic Health Service of the United States of America, act-
ing pursuant to the authority granted it under the Federal Water Pollution
Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.) has, by its offer dated September 16, 1963,
authorized the expenditure of federal funds in the amount of $5u,370.uO as a
grant to the City of Bozeman for the purpose of constructing intercevtor sewers
to serve the West areas in the City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana; and
WHEREAS, as a condition to said offer the Public Health Service of the
United States of America requires a resolution by the City Commission of the
City of Bozeman, Montana, authorizing the Mayor to accept said offer and to
make the assurances required by said Public Health Service as contained in
said offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the C1 ty Commission of the Ci ty of
Bozeman, as follows:

~hat the Honorable Fred M. Staudaher, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, be,
and he hereby is, authorized and directed to accept the offer of federal grant
for the purpose of constructing interceptor sewers to serve the West areas of
the City of Bozeman, made by the ~ublic Health Service of the United States I
of America on September 16, 1963, wherein and whereby said federal agency
offers to grant to the City of Bozeman the sum of $5U,370.00 for the purpose
of constructing an interceptor sewer to serve the West areas of the ~ity of
Bozeman, Gal.Latin County, Montana.

'l'ha t the Honorable Fred M. Staudaher, as Mayor of the Ci ty of Bozeman,
be, and he hereby is, authorized on behalf of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
to make the assurances to the Public Health Service of the United States of
America as set forth and contained in Section II, Part A of the Offer and
Acceptance of Federal Grant for the construction of interceptor sewers to
serve the West areas in the City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana,
(under 33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.), dated September 16, 1963.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session held on the 25th day of September A.D. 1963.
