A RESOL U'rION ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN, MON'ANA, RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING THE ACTION

OF THE GALLATIN FIELD BctFm OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MON'rANA, AND THE COUNTY I
OF GALLA TIN, MONTANA, IN BORROWING FROM THE MONTANA AERONAUTICS COMMISSION
OF THE STATE OF MONTANA, THE SUM OF $14,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN AIRPORT
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT CONSISTING OF RUNWAY EXTENSION ON THE NW/SE RUNWAY AT
GALLATIN FIELD, BOZEMAN, MON'l'ANA, AND OBLIGATING THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA,
TO REPAY SAID CITY'S PROPORTIONATE SHARE OF SAID LOAN."
WHEREAS, said Gallatin Field Board of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and
the County of Gallatin, Montana, has applied to the Montana Aeronautics
Commission of the s.tate of Montana for a loan of State funds in the amoun t
of $14,000 to be expended for airport construction project consisting of a
runway extension on the NW/SE runway at Gallatin Fie~d, Bozeman, Montana; and
WHEREA S , said Field Board of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and County
of Gallatin, Montana, has passed and enacted a certain Resolution concerning
said loan and prescribing the terms of repayment thereof, a copy of which
said Resolution is annexed hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and hereby made a part
hereof; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary, under the law, for the City of Bozeman,

Montana, by and through its regularly constituted City Commission to ratify,
approve and confirm said Resolution attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A";
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for said ~ity of Bozeman, Montana, by and
through 1 ts dULY and regularly consti tuted Ci ty Commission to obliga te itself
to repay its proportionate share of said loan to be made from the Montana
Aeronautics Commission.
NOW, 'l'HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
1. That said Resolution hereto attached, marked Exhibit "AIf of the
Gallatin Field Board of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and the County of
Gallatin, Montana, is hereby ratified, confirmed and approved in all things.
2. That the City of Bozeman, Montana, does hereby obligate itself to
repay to the Montana Aeronautics Commission of the State of Montana, by and
through the Gallatin Field Board of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and the
County of Gallatin, Montana, the sum of $4,000 as its proportionate share of I
said loan during the period of time beginning with the 31st. day of
December, 1964, and ending with the 31st day of December, 1973, and at the
times se t forth in Exhibi t "A" here to ,8 ttached, and, further,
the Ci ty of
Bozeman, Montana, does hereby agree that it will make the necessary tax levy
or levies to provide its said proportionate share of the funds for repayment

I of said loan and does obligate such funds so received, pursuant to said tax
levy or levies, to the repayment of its said proportionate share of said loan,
pursuant to the terms and condi tions prescribed by the Sta te of Montana by and
through the lUontana Aeronautics Commission, all as is set forth in Exhibit "A"
hereto attached.
3. That the City of Bozeman, Montana, will approve and appropriate in
the annual City of Bozeman, Montana Budget funds which will be made avail-
able to the Gallatin Field Board of the City of Bozeman, Montana and County
of Gallatin, Montana, for repayment of said loan in the manner and form as
herein and in Exhibit "A" set forth.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Mon tana this 11th day of September 1963.
