I BE IT RESCDLVED B"r THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MON'I'ANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
s'ectlon 1. That Tuesday, the 10th day of November, 1964, at a special
meeting of the City Commission of the Oit~ of Bozeman, at the hour of 1:30 P.M.
at the City Ha1-1 Building in the City of ozeman, Montana, be, and the same
hereby is designated as the time and place where said C1 ty Commission Wi 11 s$ll
to the highest bidder for cash, either ammortlzed or serial bonds of the City
of Bozeman, Montana, in the total sum of $4?b,OuO.OO for the purpose of erecting
furnishing and equipping a municipal building facility to house city executive
offices and the police and fire departments.
Section 2. That notice of sa1-e of said bonds be published once in each
calenda~ week in each of four successive calendar weeks immediately preceeding
the week which contains the date of sale, in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and publ-lshed in the City of Bozeman,
Montana, and any other such newspapers published either within or without
the State of Montana as will most likely give notice of such sale to said
prospective bidders.
Section 3. That the ~ity Clerk, at least fifteen (15) days before
the date fixed for the sale of said bonds, send a copy of tne publisned
Notice of Sal-e of said bonds to the Secretary of the State Board of Land
Commissioners of the State of Montana and at the same time furnish to said
Secretary a transcript of the proceedings had for the issuance of said bonds
and such other information rel-ating thereto as said Secretary may find
necessary.
Section 4. That the form of notice of the sale of said bonds is
on file with the cl-erk of the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, which
is in words and fl~ures as fO~loWs:

~NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Montana, that said Commission will, on the 10th day
of November, 1864, at the hc)ur of 1:3v o'clock p.m., at the City
Hall Building in the City of Bozeman, Montana, sell to the high-
est and best bidder for cash, either amortization or serial bond
of the said Oi ty in the to tal amount of Four Hundred Sevenpy-fi ve
Thousand DOllars ($475,uUO.OO), for the purpose of erecting,
fur-
nishing and equipping a municipal building facility to house City
administration offices and the Police and Fire Department.
"Amortization bonds will be the first choice and serial bonds
will be the second choice of the Commission.
"If amortiza tion bonds are sOld and issued the entire issue
may be put into one (1 ) single bond or divided into several bonds,
as the Commission may determine upon at the time of Sale, both
principal and interest to be payable in semi-annual instal-lments
during a period of 2v years from the date of issue.
"If serial bonds are issued and sold they will be in the
amolmt of One Thousand DOllars ($l,uOU.uO) each; the sum of
Nineteen Thousand DOllars ($HJ,vOO.UO) of said serial bonds will
become due and pa yable on July 1, 1965, and the sum of Twenty-
four Thousand DOl-lars ($24,vvO.uO) Will become payable on the
same day of each year thereafter untill all suoh bonds are paid.
I "The said bonds, whether amortization or serial bonds, will
bear date of JUl-Y 1, 1964, will bear interest at a rate not
exceeding six per centum (6%) per annum, payable semi-annually,
on the first day of January and on the first day of July, in
each year, and each bond maturing in 1969 or later years will be
redeemable in full, at par and accrued interest, on JUlY 1,
1969,
and on any interest payment date thereafter.
"Said bonds will be sold for not less than their par value
with accrued interest to date of delivery and all bidders must
state the lowest rate of interest at which they Will purchase the
bonds at par. The Commission reserves the right to reject any
and al-l bids and to sell said bonds at pri va te sale.

"All bids other than by or on behalf of the Sta te Board
of Land Commissioners must be accompanied by a certified or
cashier's check drawn and is sued by a Montana Bank in the sum
of Nine 'l'hou.sand Five Hundred DOLl~rs ($9, 5uv.uv) paYl'!-ble to
the order of the Clerk of the Commission, which WiLL be for-
fieted by the successfuL bidder in the event he shall fail or
refuse to complete the purchase of said bonds in accordance
with the terms of his bid.
