WHEREAS,
there has been filed wi th the Clerk of
the City Commission of the City
of Bozeman, Mintana, a petition in due form of certain owners of properties situated
on Greek Way, portionof Kagy Boulevard and on a portion of 'J.lhird Avenue South be-
tween West Lincoln Street and Kagy Boulevard, aSKing that a s~cial improvement
district be created for
the purpose of cnns tructing and

from the sale of bonds of said Special Irt1provement Dis trict No. 44'1, as au'thorized
by Lctw. uuch bonds will be in denom:~natlons of $lOO.UU each I1nd fractims or mul.ti-
ples of $lOO.UU where necessary, to be issued and chargeable agams t a fund to be
known and designated as Special. Improvement District No. 44'1 Fund of the li1ty of
Bozeman, the bonds will be redeemabl.e at the option of the City, sj.ngly or in multi-
ples, and in the order of their registration, whenever funds are availabl.e for that
purpose in said Speeial Improvement District No. 447. Said bonds will draw a sirr-vle
interest from the date of their registration 1mt1.1. calLed for payment, at a rate not
to exceed six percent (6%) per annum, whicn interest shall be chargeabl.e as a part
of the cost on construct10n

Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of November, 1964, at a regular session of the
Commission of the City of Bozeman, Commission Resolution No. 1160, entitled:

I That Wednesday, the 23rd day of December, 1964, at one o'clock p.m. at the Commission Room
of the City Hall, Bozeman, Montana, is designated by Resolution No. 1160 as the time and place
for hearing objections to the action proposed to be taken by said resolution, when and where
all persons whose property is within said proposed Special Improvement District No. 447 may
appear and show cause, if any they have, against said proposed improvement.
Objections must be
made in writing a.nd filed I,d th the Clerk of the City Commission not later than fifteen (15) days
after date of the first publication of this notice.
An approximate preliminary estimate of the cost of doing such work and making such improve-
ments within said district, including all street excavation, all materials, installation costs,
engineering and incident~ls, which is to be specially assessed against the property within said
district is $87,000.00.
Costs of the project
is to be assessed ag~inst the entire district,
each lot or parcel of land within such district will be assessed for that part of the whole
cost, ",hich its area bears to the area of the entire district exclusive of streets, avenues,
alleys and public places, and further, each square foot of land within the district lying within
25 feet of the line of the street or ~venue on which the improvements herein provided for Are
to be made, shall bear double the amount of the costs of such improvement per square foot of such
land that each square foot of any other land within the district shall bear.
For a discription of the boundaries of said Special Improvment District No. 447, reference
is hereby rrlade to the Resolution No. 1160 of the Commission of the City of Bozem~n declaring the
intention to create said District, which is on file in the office of the Clerk of s~id Commission
in the City Hall of said City of Bozeman, State of Monta na, and open for inspection to all inter-
ested parties and the public generally.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-2204, Revised Codes of Hontana,
1947.
