DECLARING IT TO BE THE

Main Street to Durston Road; North Twenty-First Avenue from wast Beall Street to
Durston Road, a portion of West Beall Street and a portion of Durston Road from
North Nineteenth Avenue to a point 117 feet West of .North Twenty-First Addit.on
and West Park Manor Second Addition to 'the Oity of Bozeman, Montana, asking that
a special improvement lighting district be created for ta, purpose of' operating
and maintaining a lighting system to 11~ t the hereinbefore streets, roa& and
avenues in the City of Dozeman, Gallatin County, Montana.
WHEREAS, at a regular meet:1ng of the City Commission of' me City of Bozeman

NOW, THEREFoRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CuMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:

Declaration of Intention
I That it is hereby decJ.sred to be tne intention of the City of Bozeman to create
a spec1al ltnprovement distric t to be mown and designated as Special Improvement
L1gnt~ Distric t No. 453 of the City of .bozeman for the purpose of operating

point 117 feet West of North Twenty-First Addition ani West Park Manor Second
Addltion to the City of Bozeman, Montana.

The Boundarie s of said Special Improve~nt L1ghting District are de-
scribed as fOilows:
Beginning at tne sect10n corner common to Sections 1, 2, 11
and 12 of 'l'ownship Two (2) South,Range Five (5) East; tnence
South 880u9'23" West a distance of 1353.42 feet to a point;
thence south 0009' 53" West a dis tance of' 26'IU.1:34 fee t to the
southwest corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section Eleven (11), being the Soutnwest corner
of West Park Manor Firat Addition ; thence North 88017'2311 East
a distance of 184.84 feet a.Long 1tle suth line of said North-
east quarter to a point on the northerly right of way line of
u. s. HigrtWay #J.9l as now constructed, said point belng sixty-
fl ve feet northwesterly when measured at r1ght angles to cen-

An eetima te of the cos t of main taining smh lighting system and supplying
current therefor is Three and '/u/luu DO.ll.CirS per uni t man th or the sum of Three
Thouand Five Hundred Ninety-six and 4u/luu Dollars ($3,5~6.4V) per year of 1hioh
total seventy-five per cent ('75~) or $2,697.3J is to be assessed against the prop-
ertl wi thin the di stria t ct1 a fron t foo t basis, and twenty-fi ve per cent (25%)
or 899.1v is to be paid by the Vity of Dozemm. The estimated rate of assessment
per year pe r front foot of the property within me di stric t 1s $0,152699-8142 per
front foot.

The entire cos t of such light swill be borne by the Montana Power Company.
