Dear City Commision,
As a supporter of the Human Rights Campaign and equal rights for allBozeman residents, I am writing to urge you to pass the historicnondiscrimination ordinance that would prohibit discrimination on thebasis of sexual orientation and gender identity. Missoula, Helena, andButte already have similar nondiscrimination laws, and now it's timefor Bozeman to do the same and further equality across the TreasureState.
All hardworking Bozemanites, including LGBT residents, should have theopportunity to earn a living and provide for their families free fromdiscrimination. Please continue to work to ensure that thisnondiscrimination ordinance is passed; it's the right thing to do.
I live in Bozeman and love the welcoming nature of our town. I choseto retire here because of the beauty and the friendliness availablehere, so I strongly advocate that the nondiscrimination ordinanceprovide the broadest protections possible against discrimination.
