Dear Mayor Krauss, Deputy Mayor Taylor and City Commissioners Pomeroy,Andrus, and Mehl,
The Bozeman City Non Discrimination Ordinance is needed to protect people who face discrimination,
every day. Transgendered people in this society at this point in history are brave beyond belief by living
their truth in the face of baseless fear and dangerous stereotypes. They are considerably more likely to
be hurt in a bathroom than anyone else.
What ever happened to the Montana ethos of Live and Let Live? Live responsibly and communicate
directly and specifically when something bothers you.
If Martin Luther King were alive today, I think he would add gender and sexuality when he declared
people should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Let's r^• #o
