Dear Bozeman City Commission,
I would urge you to vote against the so-called Non-Discrimination Ordinance for the
following reasons:
*Protection of the sin of homosexuality would be discriminatory against true Christians who
live by the Bible and it is wrong to show partiality to the wicked over the righteous per
Psalm 82:2.
*Despite perhaps a misguided view of separation of church and state which is not in the
Constitution, such protection would be making a value or religious judgment, albeit a wrong
one. I read the draft ordinance and such language about the "culture of Bozeman " (What is
that? Seems to imply a city religion or acceptable behavior) or concerns about people who
discriminate against homosexuals being "not welcoming" is also a value judgment. I wonder
if the folks from Westboro Baptist Church felt welcomed when they protested last fall in
Bozeman?
*Such an ordinance would increase the likelihood of God's wrath falling on Bozeman and
this nation per Psalm 9:17, Genesis 19, Romans 1:18, among other verses. Indeed, the Lord
may be testing this nation to see how wicked we will go before His wrath comes as it did on
Sodom and Gomorrah.
*Homosexuality is wrong, sinful and destructive behavior per Leviticus 18:22 and i
Corinthians 6:9-10 among other verses. Many claim Jesus didn't personally condemn
homosexuality so it must be OK but such reasoning is in error,very strong error. First, all of
the Bible is inerrant. Also, Jesus Christ per John 1 is the Word. Therefore, in a very real way
rejecting the Bible on this topic is antichrist and worthy of the Lord's wrath.
*Also, this type of ordinance is just a cover for hatred of true Christians. The Bible warns
against such behavior in Psalm 34:21 and Genesis 12:3. Cursing God's people will bring a
curse on people who curse them. Look what happened to the Germans after WWII for how
they treated the Jews.
Please fear God and vote against this deceitful and wicked ordinance.
