Hi Kathy,
Tonight, while performing my enforcement duties, I noticed again the white Subaru withWyoming plates parked in the same spot. I decided to tag the car with one of our
enforcement door hangers. It's what we use for noticing trailers, and other covenantinfractions. I basically asked politely to please park on their side of the street, drive pad or
garage.
The female who owns the vehicle just called me. She said she doesn't live there, that she justgot into town yesterday and is visiting a friend. I said I tagged her car because I have been by
three times in the last week and the car seems to be parked in the exact same spot. I said theowners who live on that side of the street need to have access to their homes and have asked
me to patrol the street.
She said it is inconvenient for her to make a u turn and park in front of her friends place. Shebasically admitted that she was parking in front of your place on purpose. (That is putting it
nicely).
I outright stated that she was harassing you. I said this was my attempt to act in behalf of allthe owners to ask nicely for consideration and resolution before taking it to the management
company and landlords. She was extremely defiant the entire time we talked. She stated thatuntil the lease was up in June she would park wherever she pleased.
Good new! Hopefully they will be leaving in a month! It also leads me to believe that she is
not on the lease.
I probably won't be able to do anything further till Thursday or Friday. But I intend on callingthe Rental companies and sending a letter to the owners.
You might expect some backlash from my actions. I hope not. I was calm and as nice as I
could be toward her.
