BACKGROUND: Four terms on this committee are currently vacant. These positions include a certified public accountant, a citizen of Bozeman not employed in the development industry, a land developer and a builder. One new applicant has applied and qualifies for the position of a citizen not employed in the development industry. He has also served in this position in the past. The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be the City Engineer; the City Finance Director; a certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment; 1 builder; 1 land developer; 2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and 2 other members as selected by the City Commission. A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission.
